Sussex Community Rail Partnership (Sussex CRP) by working in partnership has achieved a number of station improvements and community events along the line over the past 4 years. These include improved cycle facilities at Ham Street, the National Community Rail Festival and work with local schools to develop children’s understanding and appreciation of the railway. The Marshlink is a popular tourist link for the area and the Marshlink line guide, produced by the Sussex CRP with the support of its partners, help to encourage more people to use the line.
There is always more that needs to be achieved and the action plan for 2010 is currently being developed with the help of the Steering Group and Stakeholders.
For move information about what we do or to get move involved with the partnerships, to join in with an event, be part of a station partnership or discuss an issue with the Sussex CRP please contact the lines development officer via the details on the contact page.
