•             Edenbridge

has a history dating from the first century when a small Iron Age camp existed two miles south west of the present town.  Since Roman times the town has provided one of the main crossings over the river Eden. Today the town still has many buildings from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries and the Eden Valley Museum is housed in one of these. The town also has a range of shops and pubs serving the local community. A great place to start any visit to the area.
